Zuba Launches Click and Lick® at Global Pet Expo

San Diego, CA – March 25, 2006. Zuba LLC introduces Click and Lick at Global Pet Expo, the largest show for the pet industry. Click and Lick is a treat system designed for people who love to spoil their dogs without worrying about getting fat.

The Purina Life Span Study reported that most pet owner's are unable to recognize an animal as overweight. Of the 79 percent of dog owners who had overweight dogs, only 28 percent of them actually thought their animal was overweight.

“This is a problem I see all the time. People can treat their dogs all day. They just need to stop Super Sizing their treats and stop feeding them junk food!” says Cerena West Zutis, co-founder. Cerena is a nutritionist and certified behavior counselor and professional dog trainer for over 16 years.

“We wanted to make the best tasting and healthy treat possible for our dogs – no cornstarch, no grains, no preservatives, coloring or additives and human grade ingredients.” says Diana Gerba, co-founder and a dog owner and filmmaker.

Click and Lick is a Weight Watchers system for dogs. The Click and Lick system apportions treats made from a special family recipe. Zuba was started by two friends – a dog trainer/nutrtionist and dog owner/filmmaker. We started with one good idea, the Zuba DreamWalker and from there introduced the Click and Lick. We were tired of seeing new versions of the same old products…so we went into the Zuba imagination Garage with our dogs Marian and Fidelio and started creating. Everything we invent is because we want to use it ourselves.
